The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) advises:
(1) Yes. Travel times for fire appliances from the Perth Fire Station to incidents in the South West quadrant of the Perth Fire Station turnout area have increased.
(2) (a) Travel times during peak periods have increased by an average of 42 seconds per attendance.
(b) Travel times during non-peak periods have increased by an average of 23 seconds per attendance.
(3) No. Overall response times for fire appliances from the Perth Fire Station to incidents in the South West quadrant of the Perth Fire Station turnout area are within acceptable operational limits.
(4) Not applicable.
