I refer to Part 2 Division 3A 'Police officers may make police orders where family and domestic violence' of the
Restraining Orders Act 1997
, and ask -
(1) In each of the following years, how many police orders were made where the officer reasonably believed that a child had been exposed to an act of family and domestic violence committed by or against a person with whom the child is in a family and domestic relationship and the child was likely again to be exposed to such an act; or the officer reasonably feared, or reasonably believed that another person reasonably feared, that a child would be exposed to an act of family and domestic violence committed by or against a person with whom the child was in a family and domestic relationship, and that making a police order was necessary to ensure the safety of a person -
(a) 2005;
(b) 2006;
(c) 2007;
(d) 2008;
(e) 2009;
(f) 2010; and
(g) 2011?
(2) If the reasons for the orders are not known, how many police orders were made in the respective years referred to in (1) above?
