(2)-(4) This matter has been referred to the State Wetlands Coordinating Committee which has considered the best means of completing the audit. The group has considered availability of current data and has established a Wetlands Status Working Group to cover the audit and other key wetland conservation issues. A major databasing project has been approved under the Natural Heritage Trust (NHT) to bring together, verify and standardise wetland databases. This project will commence as soon as funds have been provided by the Commonwealth. (5) There is no current progress report, but reports will be available through the NHT database project.
