I refer to question without notice 1217, asked on Wednesday,
21 October.
(1) Will the
Department of Agriculture and Food be preparing advice or guidance outlining
the best-practice method for destroying or clearing contaminated road verges of
genetically modified canola plants for those entities responsible for verges to
access and utilise?
(2) If yes to
(1), when will this advice be available?

I would imagine that the department would be happy to show people how to get
rid of whatever weed is on the road verges now, but the department will not be
going out there to do it for them. I am sure that if anyone were to contact the
department, it would tell them how to get rid of that weed.
