PEARLLARGO PTY LTD
541. Mr B.S. WYATT to the Premier:
I refer to Pearllargo Pty Ltd which,
according to an Australian Securities and Investments Commission search, has

I have been a member of Parliament
for a long time. I have been Premier for eight years. I am a public figure;
indeed, as are all members in this house. In that sense, I am fair game. I cop
that; I accept that and I accept the accountability that goes with that. But
members of my family, particularly my son, are not public figures. He is not a public
figure.
Point of Order
Mr B.S. WYATT : My question made
no reference to the Premier's family; it made reference to a company
registered at the Premier's address.
Several members interjected.
The SPEAKER : Thank you! I want
the Premier to answer—give him a chance.

Mr
C.J. BARNETT : As I said, my son is not a public figure. If members opposite
want to make an accusation against me, make it.
