CHILD PROTECTION — PRIORITY ONE CASES
707. Hon NICK GOIRAN to the Leader of the House representing
the Minister for Child Protection:
I
refer to the answer to my question without notice asked on 17 August 2022,
which revealed that of the 164 priority one investigations in the first
seven months of 2022, 26 were not commenced within the first 24 hours as
required.
(1) How many of the 26 priority
investigations were not commenced within 48 hours?
(2) What was the
longest amount of time before one of the 26 investigations commenced?
