(1) How much funding has been
provided?
(2) How long has the funding been
provided for?
(3) Is this funding enough to

I advise the member that this went
to the Minister for Community Services whom I represent in this house. I thank
the honourable member for some notice of the question.
(1) The
Department of Communities currently provides $519 401 per annum through the
Aboriginal patrols program to the Mamabulanjin Aboriginal Corporation for the
delivery of Kullarri Patrol services.
(2) The current
contract with the Mamabulanjin Aboriginal Corporation commenced in 2016, and is
due to cease on 30 June 2019.
(3) The corporation operates a successful
and well-received service.
(4) Communities
is examining potential further locations, and service delivery options across Western
Australia are underway. This work will include community and stakeholder
consultation to ensure that the patrols continue to meet local community needs.
(5) Not applicable.
