I refer the Minister to the Small Business Commissioner’s report into the Construction Subcontractor Investigation, page 40, and I ask: (a) did Oostveen comply with the conditions imposed on it by Building Management and Works’ Business Assessment Team upon receiving the Government Contract to: (i) obtain a 5 per cent bank guarantee; (ii) obtain a specific directors personal guarantee; and (iii) monitor payments to subcontractors for the duration of the proposed contract?

(a) Government supports all of the recommendations of the Report and they will be implemented. Planning for the implementation of the longer term recommendations is well progressed and will be completed shortly.
