I refer to the
shocking incident of the bashing of a police officer outside Optus Stadium and
the Commissioner of Police subsequently writing to the Director of Public
Prosecutions to consider whether there are avenues to appeal the court's
decision to give no punishment to the offender.
(1) Has the Commissioner of Police received a
response from the Director of Public Prosecutions?
(2) If yes, what was the response?
