As a supplementary question, will the Premier guarantee financial support for those families should the logs supply run short? It is a very simple question - yes or no. Dr G.I. GALLOP

The Government of Western Australia has had a policy of financial support in relation to the stopping of logging of old-growth forests. That has been implemented properly, as should be the case. I am confident that what has been done will produce the logs required for the industry to operate. We are used to these sorts of questions from the member on such issues. He has not moved on in the way he handles forestry issues.
