QUINNS
ROCKS BEACH
743. Mr J.R. QUIGLEY to the
Minister for Transport:
I ask a supplementary question. Given that the emergency
works required at Quinns beach identified by the
Department of Transport will cost between $2.8 million and $3.5 million, will
the government commit to funding 50 per cent of those emergency works as
identified by Department of Transport officers?

Are these emergency works the same as the emergency funding
that the member talked about previously? I think he is all over the shop. I am
not prepared to respond to anything he says because I do not think he knows
what he is talking about.
