I refer to the Office of the Inspector of Custodial Services Report No. 110: Report of an Announced Inspection of Casuarina Prison tabled 22 August 2017, noting the concerns relating to provision of health and mental health services at the prison, and ask: (a) are there any plans to upgrade the infirmary at the prison: (i) if not, why not; and (ii) if so, when will the infirmary be expanded; (b) what is the breakdown of dental procedures undertaken in the last financial year i.e. restorative, emergency procedures, and: (i) how much did these dental procedures cost to provide; (c) what is the breakdown of clinical procedures undertaken in the last financial year: (i) how much did these clinical procedures cost to provide; and (d) what is the breakdown of trauma and distress counselling services provided in the last financial year, and: (i) how many counselling services were requested by inmates in the last financial year?
