(1)   During the months of June, July and August 2016, the Department for Child Protection and Family Support referred a total of 68 individuals to the Department of Social Services (Centrelink) for compulsory income management.
Twenty-three in June 2016 in the following districts:
Armadale – 2;
Fremantle – 2;
Joondalup – 7;
Midland – 4;
Mirrabooka – 2, and
Rockingham – 6.
Twenty in July 2016 in the following districts:
Cannington – 1;
East Kimberley – 1;
Fremantle – 2;
Joondalup – 1;
Midland – 5;
Mirrabooka – 5;
Rockingham – 2, and
West Kimberley – 3.
Twenty-five in August 2016 in the following districts:
Armadale – 4;
Cannington – 3;
East Kimberley – 2;
Fremantle – 2;
Joondalup – 2;
Mirrabooka – 3;
Perth – 1;
Rockingham – 5, and
West Kimberley – 3.
(2)   Between 1 June 2016 and 31 August 2016 one individual with children sought financial assistance on two or more occasions. This individual was from a country district.
