I refer to the Greater Bunbury Region Scheme (GBRS) amendment 0020/57, the Dalyellup Greenpatch
development in close proximity to the Bunbury/Dalyellup Wate Water Treatment Plant (WWTP), the works approval application (W6637) in January 2022 by Aqwest on behalf of Water
Corporation to construct and operate the Water Resource Recovery Scheme (WRRS)
within the premises of the Bunbury/Dalyellup WWTP, and Licence Number
L5972/1992/14 Amendment on May 2022, and I ask: (a) would the Minister please provide a copy of
DWER’s resolution/s relating to W6637; (b) if no to (a), why not; (c) were Water Corporation and/or Aqwest aware
whether there were any submissions against works approval W6637; (d) did Water Corporation/Aqwest apply to construct
and operate the WRRS through an amendment to the Licence: (i) If yes to (c), why was the works approval process
not followed; and (ii) If no to (c) ,which avenue/process did Water
Corporation/Aqwest follow to obtain approval to construct and operate the WRRS; (e) would the Minister please provide a copy of any
correspondence between Water Corporation and Aqwest, EPA and/or DWER regarding
the application to construct and operate the WRRS; and (f) if no to (e), why not?
