refer to the Emanuel Exports legal matter involving the Department of Primary
Industries and Regional Development.
(1) How many FTE DPIRD staff worked
on the Emanuel Exports case?
(2) For those in (1), how many were
paid under each public service pay classification?
(3) Has the
minister ever received advice concerning jurisdictional matters in relation to
the case; and, if so, can it be tabled?

the last five years, a number of DPIRD staff across a range of pay
classifications from level 3 to level 7 have
conducted investigations and provided advice and support on this case as part
of their normal duties.
(3) Jurisdictional
matters have been raised in both the Perth Magistrates Court and the Court of
Appeal since the commencement of the case and are on the public record.
