The Department of Education monitors student population growth in all of its schools and plans appropriate responses. The Department uses transportable classrooms to accommodate growth. Responses to long term sustained growth are subject to planning and budget processes.
1)         As at Semester 2, 2019, John Curtin College of the Arts had a total enrolment of 1 688 students.
2)         John Curtin College of the Arts has a total accommodation capacity of 1 868 students.
3)         17 transportable classrooms are currently installed at John Curtin College of the Arts.
4)         The current capacity of John Curtin College of the Arts, without transportables, is 1 493 students.
5)         The Department of Education actively monitors student population growth and residential development to determine if schools are coming under accommodation pressure and require a relieving strategy.
