Hon Pierre Yang replied:I thank the
honourable member for some notice of the question. The following answer has
been provided by the Minister for Health.(1)–(4) FTI Consulting was engaged to
undertake an evaluation of the WA Health system's winter activity in 2025 and a
jurisdictional assessment of other initiatives being explored to support winter
demand pressures, which were observed around the nation. This work has cost
$249,719 to date and is helping to inform WA Health's winter strategy for 2026,
which will be released early next year.
