the Minister for Transport:

taxi industry stakeholders who were consulted by the Department of Transport in
regard to the introduction of a flashing light duress alarm in taxis?
(2) On what date did these
consultations occur?
(3) What was the outcome of these
consultations?

question.
(1) The
stakeholders are the Taxi Council of Western Australia, Taxi Industry Forum of
Western Australia and interstate regulators.
(2) Consultations took place during
June and July 2013.
(3) The proposal was not supported.
