(1) Can the Minister for Energy advise how much money was spent by Western Power on consulting fees for accounting firm Ernst and Young in: (a) 2011-12; and (b) 2012-13? (2) For the fees detailed in (1), can the Minister advise of the works contracted and the title of any final reports produced? (3) Did Western Power have a value of money audit, in which year was it done and at what cost?

2. Ernst & Young have been engaged by Western Power to assist with the transition to a new business model through the application of Ernst & Young's Power and Utilities Maturity Model and Architecture. The outputs of Ernst & Young's engagement are not in the form of a report.
3. No. As a regulated business Western Power's investment decisions are reviewed by the Economic Regulation Authority.
