I refer to the contribution to Western Australian rail investment made by the Federal Government outlined in the National Partnership Agreement on Land Transport Infrastructure - Mid-Year Economic and Fiscal Outlook (MYEFO) 2021-22 Schedule (Western Australia), and I ask: (a) is it accurate that each of the following amounts were committed to in Commonwealth funding for METRONET projects, as of the date of publication of the 2021-22 MYEFO Schedule: (i) $475 million total Commonwealth funding commitment to METRONET: Byford Extension; (ii) $133.8 million total Commonwealth funding commitment to METRONET: High Capacity Signalling; (iii) $157.5 million total Commonwealth funding commitment to METRONET: Midland Station Project; (iv) $624.8 million total Commonwealth funding commitment to METRONET: Morley-Ellenbrook Line; (v) $350 million total Commonwealth funding commitment to METRONET: Thornlie-Cockburn Link; and (vi) $350 million total Commonwealth funding commitment to METRONET: Yanchep Rail Extension; (b) if any figures are incorrect in relation to (a), please specify the correct figure; and (c) in relation to the projects listed in (a), what is the current updated figure for each in total Commonwealth funding, as at the current date (21 October 2025)?
