I thank Hon Nigel Hallett for some notice of this question, to which I respond on behalf of the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure. The minister has provided the following response. The upgrade of Greenlands Road is programmed to commence in February 2009. Completion of the first 3.6 kilometres of Greenlands Road, from the new Perth-Bunbury Highway following the existing road alignment, is expected in May 2009. The final 1.8 kilometre realignment around the Pinjarra trotting track is expected by December 2009.
