I refer to the Redlion Bus
and Coach Company in Esperance and the photograph entitled "Unsafe Driving
Behaviours" which was displayed publicly in the company's office and which may be found at robin.chapple.com/qdata, and ask: (a) is the Minister aware that some drivers of this company drive at excess speed,
on a regular basis, through the bus bay at the Esperance Senior High School, which is a major pickup and drop off transfer station for students from all
schools in the district; (b) if no to (a), why not; (c) if yes to (a), what actions were taken to rectify this situation, please include details of breaches and penalties; (d) is the Minister aware that the Operations Manager and Occupational Health and Safety Manager (OHS
Manager) of this company have allowed this problem to develop to the point where this communication was deemed necessary; (e) if no to (d), why not; (f) if yes to (d), what actions were undertaken to rectify this situation, please include details of breaches and penalties; (g) when was the Department of Transport (DOT) first made aware of this situation; (h) when did the DOT first take action to rectify this situation, please include the dates and action; (i) how has the DOT verified that this situation has been rectified; and (j) what measures has the DOT taken to ensure this situation does not occur in the future?

Insofar as the Public Transport Authority (PTA) is concerned, the PTA has a contract with Redlion Bus and Coach to operate intra-town school bus services. This question has been answered in that context.
