(1) I refer to the Major Policy Decisions on page 582 showing that $440,000 will be spent in 2003-04 for planning the establishment of a new hazardous waste precinct and ask will the Minister list the types of waste the Government intends this facility to handle?
(2) I refer to the Major Policy Decisions on page 582 showing that $2.5 million has been set aside in 2003-04 for general provision for contaminated sites and specifically the first dot point under Environmental Protection on page 65 of the Economic and Fiscal Outlook which states that this will be used to cover the initial implementation of the Contaminated Sites Bill as well as remediation costs for contaminated sites and ask -
(a) have sites been pre-determined for remediation;
(b) if yes, will the Minister list these sites;
(c) will funds be available for sites as they are identified, on an as-needed basis; and
(d) if so, how much money is allocated for this purpose?
