QuestionView source ↗

The question relates specifically to the Gascoyne. (1) Has the minister or his ministerial staff met Mr Martin Copley or anybody involved with Australian Wildlife Conservancy - Hon Tom Stephens: And if not, why not? Hon NORMAN MOORE: That can be the next part of the question, if the minister likes. I refer to such meetings since the decision not to proceed with the Coral Coast Marina Development resort was announced in July 2003. (2) If the minister has met Mr Copley or anybody else from Australian Wildlife Conservancy, can the minister give details of the meetings? Hon TOM STEPHENS

(1)- (2) I have met Mr Copley once. I am very confident that it was a meeting prior to the decision by the Government concerning the Mauds Landing proposal. I am not aware of any meeting with Mr Copley by anyone in my office at any time either before or after that decision was made.
