I refer to the recent release of
grid-connected solar places on the Broome electricity grid by Horizon Power.
(1) What portion of the latest
release was allocated to commercial clients?
(2) What portion of the latest
release was allocated to residential clients?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The following information has been provided to me
by the Minister for Energy.
(1)–(2) Horizon
Power did not allocate portions of its grid-connected solar capacity to
commercial or residential customers. Horizon Power processed all applications
received on a first come, first served basis; 82 were from residential
customers and 100 were from commercial customers.
