(i) the number of staff FTE currently employed within the department;
(ii) the current global budget for any department or agency; and
(iii) initiatives being undertaken to ensure all staff are redeployed within the public service?

The Leader of the Opposition will know that the Public Sector Commission was created by the transfer of some functions from the Department of the Premier and Cabinet with effect on and from 28 November 2008 and that the issues referred to in parts (a)(ii) and (iii) are being finalised.
