WOODCHIP MILL, DONNYBROOK 274. Mr M.W. TRENORDEN to the Premier: I have a supplementary question. Is the Premier aware that the company desperately wants an answer to this question, and needs to get on with the project? Dr G.I. GALLOP

AnswerView source ↗

Of course the Government is aware of that, and the Minister for the Environment and Heritage is following exactly the proper process to that end. Is the Leader of the National Party suggesting that somehow the Government should thwart or hinder that process? That would be the very condition that would undermine the future of this project. The position of the Government is absolutely clear. It is following the proper process, as it does in all of these issues. The Leader of the National Party is urging the Government to thwart and undermine a process that is being followed. When that is done, projects are delayed.
