571. Hon Michelle Hofmann to the minister representing
the Minister for Aged Care and Seniors:
I refer to the
government's 2025 election commitment that promised that the Department of
Health would provide a $100 million low-interest loan facility designed to
deliver an estimated 500 additional aged-care beds to ease the strain on WA
hospitals.
(1) To date, how many low-interest loans has the
Department of Health:
(a) approved; and
(b) rejected?
(2) How many low-interest loans are currently
being assessed?
(3) How many additional aged-care beds have been
delivered under this scheme?
