(1 - 4) The intent of the Member's question is unclear as the definition of "heritage project" can be wide ranging. However, details of all projects funded by Royalties for Regions from 2008 to June 2012 are available in the
Royalties for Regions Progress Report July 2011 - June 2012
which was tabled in the House on Wednesday 7 November 2012.
(5 - 6) In order to respond to these questions, the Member would need to more narrowly define the term "heritage project".
(7) I am advised that the Chairman of the Regional Development Council has met with the Heritage Council of WA and the National Trust of Australia (WA) and encouraged them to work together on a coordinated approach in this area.
A Rural and Regional Heritage concept paper prepared by the National Trust of Australia (WA), the Heritage Council of WA, LotteryWest and the Western Australian Museum was considered by the Regional Development Council on 20 August 2012. Discussions on the matter are continuing
(8) The Member is referred to the 2012-13 Budget Papers
