I refer to Mining Lease 26/383 owned by Barrick Gold of Australia and Newmont Mining Limited, operated by Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines Pty Ltd, and the Fimiston I tailings dam -
(1) Can the Minister state the specific date or approximate month that waste rock was placed on the eastern wall all the way to the top of the Fimiston I tailings dam facing the Trans Australian Railway Property, Hampton Location 32?
(2) If no to (1), why not?
(3) Can the Minister state the reasons and purpose why waste rock was placed covering the eastern wall of the Fimiston I tailings dam facing the trans Australian Railway Property Hampton Location 32?
(4) If no to (3), why not?
(5) Can the Minister explain why the placement of waste rock on the eastern wall, all the way to the top of the Fimiston I tailings dam facing the Trans Australian Railway Property Hampton location 32 was subject to substantial delays before it was actually undertaken?
(6) If no to (5), why not?
