(1) There are currently four coroners attached to the Coroner's Court in Perth.  However, all magistrates attached to regional courts hold contemporaneous ex-officio appointment as coroners.
(2) In 2013-14, 2009 new cases were referred to the Coroner's Court.  In 2014/15 to 10 March 2015, 1513 new cases have been referred to the Coroner's Court.

(4) 163.6 weeks.
(5) The oldest backlog case on hand is a 2002 case relating to unidentified skeletal remains which is the subject of a cold case review by Western Australia Police.
