I thank the honourable member for some notice of this question. (a) Responsibility for laying charges is a police matter. The Department of Health provides information on children under 14 with sexually transmissible infections to the Western Australia Police Service and the Department for Community Development simultaneously. (b) As the responsibility for laying charges is a police matter, this is not known. (c) As at 29 April 2005, DCD records show that two individuals have been charged. (d) As at 29 April 2005, DCD records show that no foster carers have been charged.
