(b) if not, why not?
Section 74 of the Public Sector Management Act 1994 requires me to make written arrangements relating to my agencies setting out the manner and circumstances in which communications are to be made between ministerial officers and agency employees. I have these arrangements in place and they specifically include meetings between ministerial staff and agency officers. Accordingly, it is not considered necessary to maintain specific records relating to meetings attended by ministerial staff. No ministerial officers sit on the corporate executive of any of my agencies and attendance at meetings involving matters of a strategic nature must be referred to the Chief Executive Officer in all instances. (b) Not applicable.
