I refer to the answer to my question on notice No. 5240 regarding staffing in the petroleum division, and I ask -
(1) How may full time equivalent (FTE) are assigned to -
(a) projects and policy;
(b) assessment; and
(c) compliance?
(2) How many of the FTE referred to in each of the three areas in question (1) are staffed?
(3) How many FTE were -
(a) assigned to the petroleum division in November 2011; and
(b) how many of those positions were filled?

(1) The Resources Branch of the Petroleum Division of Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP) has assigned the following full time equivalent (FTE) staff:
(a) 5.7 in projects and policy;
(b) 5.6 in assessments; and
(c) 7 in compliance.
(2) Of the above, the following FTE positions are staffed:
(a) 4.7 in projects and policy;
(b) 4.6 in assessments; and
(c) 5 in compliance.
(3) The FTEs in the Petroleum Division in DMP in November 2011 were:
(a) assigned 50.3
(b) staffed 47.1
