Data was generated on 4 November 2014 and to that time clinical coding of the data was complete to 31 July 2014.
The source for the data used in this response is the Inpatient Data Collection. This Collection only includes data on the patient's ward on separation (discharge). That is, this response provides the number of patients who were
discharged
from ward 4H (Specialised Mental Health Inpatient Unit) at Princess Margaret Hospital. Therefore, the figures will not include patients who were admitted to ward 4H, but then transferred to another ward and then discharged from that subsequent ward. As such, the figures below may under represent the number of patients spending time in ward 4H. Figures represent the number of separations (discharges). One person may have multiple separations in the same year.
Number of separations from ward 4H at Princess Margaret Hospital for children and adolescents living in the South West:
(a) 13
(b) 17
(c) 9
(d) <5 (to 31 July)
