VUE GROUP, BUNBURY — MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING
1436. Hon ADELE FARINA to the minister
representing the Minister for Regional Development:
I refer to the memorandum of
understanding signed on 30 October 2014 between Shanghai Hippo Animation
Company Ltd, Vue DC Pty Ltd, the South West Development Commission and the City
of Bunbury.
(1) Do all
parties to the MOU remain committed to the development of a film and animation
studio in Bunbury?
(2) If no to (1), which party or
parties have revoked their commitment?
(3) Would one party electing to
withdraw its commitment result in the voiding of the MOU?
(4) Has the South
West Development Commission provided the services of a project officer to the
project as allowed for by the MOU; and, if yes, what form have these services
taken?
(5) What is the current status of
the project to build a film and animation studio in Bunbury?

discussions with the Vue group and the City of Bunbury.
(5) A concept proposal is before the
City of Bunbury for consideration.
