For each calendar year from 2008 to 2014, I ask: (a) how many people were incarcerated in police lock ups solely for the purposes of cutting out fines: (i) how many of those were Aboriginal; (ii) how many were women; (iii) how many were Aboriginal women; and (iv) how many were being treated for a diagnosed mental illness at the time of incarceration: (A) how many of those were Aboriginal? (B) how many were women? (C) how many were Aboriginal women?
