The Minister Replied:
(1)-(2)
The Electoral Act 1907 (WA) governs publicly funded advertising in Western Australia in certain circumstances. The Broadcast Services Act 1992 (Clth) also applies to publicly funded advertising in Western Australia in certain circumstances.
(3)-(4)
The Government has a Public Promotions Policy which provides guidelines for publicly funded advertising in Western Australia, which is tabled. Internet Employment is subject to separate guidelines. There are also conventions which apply to publicly funded advertising in Western Australia during an election period - these conventions are reviewed and made available at that time.
