The Minister for Planning is on urgent parliamentary business, so I will
respond on her behalf.
I thank the member for some notice of the question.
(a) Planning encompasses a range of considerations
that have been undertaken across the project as a whole, including
architectural, engineering, heritage, environmental and approvals processes.
Costs associated with the Florence Hummerston building itself cannot be
isolated; however, all costs form part of the approved $440 million budget for
Elizabeth Quay.
(b) Project management services for
Elizabeth Quay are provided across the project as a whole. As such, charges for
project management services do not isolate costs associated only with the
Florence Hummerston building. However, the value of project management services
is funded within the approved Elizabeth Quay budget.
(c) It is $442 725.
(d) Nil.
(e) It is $3.48 million. This includes the
construction of a new extension to the building to incorporate public toilet
facilities.
(f) The sum of $7.24 million has been paid
to the previous leaseholder to date.
(g) No court costs have been paid by the
state as this matter is being handled by the State Solicitor's Office.
(h) A sum of $459 223 has been paid for
consultants' advice in relation to the previous leaseholder's
compensation claim.
