DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITIES — PAUL WHYTE
1443. Hon MICHAEL MISCHIN to the Leader of the House
representing the Premier:
I refer to the Premier's
response to question without notice 1417 of 26 November 2019 asked by Hon Peter
Collier. As it would be both extremely disappointing, to use the Premier's
words, as well as dishonest, for him to publicly accuse the previous government
of having ''buried'' a report on the advice of Mr Paul Whyte
without the Premier having any sound evidential support for doing so, what
precisely is the Premier's evidence for that accusation?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
In
2012, when the review was completed, Mr Whyte was the general manager,
commercial and business operations, at the then Department of Housing. It is
self-evident that he was intimately involved in the deliberations around this
review.
Hon Michael Mischin interjected.
The PRESIDENT : Order!
Member! You might get another turn at asking another question later but right
now it is Hon Donna Faragher's turn.
