(1) In previous years, the Minister for Lands has tabled information pertaining to pastoral lease rental increases, nevertheless in these circumstances, agreement from the Chairman and members of the Pastoral Lands Board would be preferable. The Minister will seek this agreement and I will then provide further information. (2) Other than permit fee, there are no other Government charges affecting pastoral leases raised within the Lands portfolio. There are charges raised within the Agriculture portfolio, and local governments raise rates, which are tied to pastoral lease rents. I will ask the Minister for Agriculture to provide further information on the relevant charges in his portfolio agencies
