I refer to my Question on Notice 587, and the Premier’s response which did not answer the question, and I ask: (a) If the Public Sector Commission ‘State of the WA Government Sector Workforce 2024-25’ reports the percentage of women in the SES (page 36) and the percentage of SES positions by age group (page 40 – ‘SES headcount as a percent of SES total 2024-25’) there must be a total number of SES positions from which these percentages are derived, therefore what is the total number of SES positions; and (b) Using the information provided by the Premier that the SES positions in the public sector in 2024-25 were 0.73% of the total public sector salaries, what is the total public sector salaries expense?

(a) I refer the Member to the answer provided to Question on Notice 587, which is consistent with previous answers to this question.
(b) The total public sector salaries expenditure as at March 2025 for the 24/25 financial year is $14.88 billion (Quarterly Financial Results Report tabled in Parliament in March 2025).
