WATER LICENSING FEES - HARVEY WATER
I refer to the new water licensing fees proposed for introduction on 1 July 2007. (1) Will the minister confirm that Harvey Water has a licence allocation in excess of 100 gigalitres and will pay $1 300 for its water licence fee? (2) If no to (1), what are the figures? (3) Can the minister confirm that there are approximately 600 farmers within the Harvey Water cooperative, which equates to approximately $5 per licence fee per irrigator? (4) If no to (3), what are the figures? (5) Can the minister confirm that the farmers within the Harvey Water cooperative will each access an average of 166 megalitres of water in return for the fee?
