ROAD TRAUMA TRUST ACCOUNT
775. Hon MARTIN ALDRIDGE to the minister representing the
Minister for Police:
I refer to the road trauma trust
account.
(1) Please identify the amount of
funds received by the account in 2019–20 from —
(a) the proceeds of photographic
speed and red-light camera fines; and
(b) other sources?
(2) In 2019–20,
what was the quantum of funds received from traffic-related offences and
infringements that were not received by the account?

following answer has been provided to me by the Minister for Police; Road
Safety. The Road Safety Commission advises the following.
(1) The account received —
(a) $96 680 762; and
(b) $1 165 854.
(2) As this relates to the work of
other agencies, this question should be referred to the Treasurer.
