I refer to the C-series trains, and I ask: (a) if a train driver believes that a train is unsafe and refuses to drive it, what is the Public Transport Authority policy to manage the matter; and (b) in relation to (a), will a train driver ever be made to drive a train they believe is unsafe?

a. The Driver is required to book the reasons the train is unsafe in the railcar logbook or provide a report to their supervisor or network control depending on the circumstance. As with all matters raised by Drivers, the concerns are addressed and actioned accordingly.
