LEARMONTH AIRPORT — NAME CHANGE
I asked this question twice last week and I wonder if the parliamentary secretary could indicate if she has an answer. This is to do with the Learmonth Airport. I will ask it again. I refer the minister to her answer to my question without notice 138 of 11 March 2008 relating to the renaming of Learmonth Airport and again ask who will make the ultimate decision on any name change—the Shire of Exmouth, the Department of Defence or the Department for Planning and Infrastructure? Hon ADELE FARINA

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this question. As the airport is on commonwealth land belonging to the Department of Defence, the decision rests with the Department of Defence.
