I refer to the 24 page Western Australia National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) My Way Trial advertising feature published in The West Australian newspaper on Friday, 26 June 2015, and I ask: (a) who initiated the advertising feature; (b) did the Disability Services Commission make any financial contribution to the feature; (c) if yes to (b), how much did the Commission contribute; (d) did Disability Services Commission staff contribute any of the content used in the advertising feature; and (e) if yes to (d), how many staff hours were spent developing and producing content, and what would the cost of that staff time have been?

(b) While the Disability Services Commission did not initiate the feature or contribute to the overall cost, it placed two WA NDIS My Way trial advertisements in the feature at a cost $14,972.71
The opportunity the 'Supporting people with disability in WA' liftout provided to inform people with disability and their families about the trial was consistent with other communication strategies used by the Commission.
