MINING LEASE 47/1566
1229. Hon ROBIN CHAPPLE to the minister representing the
Minister for Aboriginal Affairs:
I refer to mining tenement
M47/1566, and registered Aboriginal site 621 and adjacent site 11866.
(1) With
reference to mining lease 47/1566, were the relevant native title parties
consulted; and, if yes, who and when?
(2) Was the
Aboriginal Cultural Material Committee advised that site 621 was to be directly
impacted and that the adjacent site 1186 would potentially be impacted?
(3) Has a section 18 approval been applied for by the
proponent; and, if so, when was this application submitted?
(4) Has a section 18 approval been granted for the
area covered by mining tenement M47/1566; and, if so, when?
