I think it is particularly condescending for a member to say
that I need to seek the permission of the Treasurer to ensure that I meet our
commitments. I will be working with the Treasurer, I will be working with
cabinet and I will deliver on that commitment.

important part of our budget delivery and I will ensure that my ministerial
responsibilities and my areas of spending will not have a negative impact on
net debt as per my responsibilities to deliver sound financial management to
the state.
