Perth Park—Hospitality venue
102. Hon Anthony Spagnolo to the parliamentary
secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to the
market sounding tender for a Perth Park hospitality venue—the pavilion—issued
by the Office of Major Transport Infrastructure Delivery, which closed on 16
December 2025.
(1) How many expressions of interest were
ultimately received from hospitality and investment groups?
(2) What is the
total estimated capital cost of the pavilion hospitality venue?
(3) Given the pavilion proposal was not
modelled in the business case, will this capital cost form part of the $217.5
million budget?
(4) What is the estimated operating
subsidy per year required from the state once the pavilion opens?

honourable member for some notice of the question and provide the following
answer on behalf of the Minister for Transport.
(1)–(4) Eleven expressions of interest have been
received and the market sounding process is ongoing.
